The 1st Cultural HanMaDang of Overseas Adopted Koreans
Dear Friend,
We cordially invite you to attend our Inaugural Cultural HanMaDang at the Centro Cultural De America Latina Y Museo on Saturday, 30 April 2005. The Mugungwha Foundation is sponsoring the Cultural HanMaDang to support overseas Korea adoptees.
HanMaDang means an open, community space and the evening's program will be "Traditional Korean Sound and Music". Mr. Im Dong-Chang, pianist, composer and [frequent TV presenter, will lead an intriguing talk introducing native instruments and music through a combination of performance, demonstration and comparison with Western standards.
After the program, over dinner and wine you will have an opportunity to meet overseas Korean adoptees possibly your fellow citizens!
This year the proceeds from Cultural HanMaDang will be donated to GOAL (Global Overseas Adoptees Link), an organization of overseas Korean adoptees currently living in Korea.
We very much look forward to meeting you in April.
Please R.S.V.P. by April 23rd to Ms. Jeanne Hong at 017-363-4393 or by email at jeanniehong70@yahoo.co.kr.
