(Heurgbyeolnal is a Korean translation of the Chinese character for
"Saturday-Åä¿äÀÏ-÷Ïèøìí¡°)
Who: Overseas adoptees currently residing in Korea (Limited to
a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 20 students)
What: Adoptees will enhance their knowledge and understanding of
Korean society and the current marketplace through a seminar/lecture
structure presented by experts from various sectors and fields of
business in Korea.
Purpose: HIBSOK wants to be a facilitator for overseas adoptees
residing in Korea in four major ways
¡¡¡¡¡¡ 1. Assessing your professional skills
¡¡¡¡¡¡ 2. Providing knowledge and resources
¡¡¡¡¡¡ 3. Constructing a career path in your field
¡¡¡¡¡¡ 4. Networking with adoptees and native Korean professionals
When: Spring Term
¡¡ - Apr. 2 ~ June 6, Saturdays, 12:00 ~ 4:00pm
¡¡¡¡¡¡Autumn Term
¡¡ - Sep. 24 ~ Nov. 26, Saturdays, 12:00 ~ 4:00pm
Where: KoRoot''s new sublevel meeting area:¡°Baeumjari"
Fee: We have heard that although many people are interested in
¡¡HIBSOK, they are hesitating to apply due to the pressure of
¡¡having to participate during the whole 10 weeks. We have now
¡¡decided to change the system to 10 individual sessions so
¡¡that you can choose the ones you wish to attend. Also, we
¡¡are cutting down the tuition fee by 50%.
¡¡¡¡ *New tuition fee: one session - 5,000won
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡10 sessions - 50,000won
(Tuition will go towards continuing services for adoptees)
