Yonhap News Agency will open a Web site that will give information on various regional festivals and markets in the nation starting tomorrow.
The Web Site(www.efestival.co.kr) will provide details on about 350 different regional festivals as well as 100 "oiljang," traditional regional markets that open every five days. The information, mostly gathered from agency's reporters, will be organized by date, theme and region.
The agency expects to expand their coverage to 500 festivals and 150 markets by the end of the year. (The Korea Times on March 29th edition) |
