Applicants must be an overseas Korean adoptee who is 18 years or older. Please keep in mind that applicants that do not have at least a bachelor's degree may have a harder time finding work. If you do have a bachelor's degree, some workplaces will require that you present either an original diploma or a notarized copy of your diploma.

 
 
 

To begin the application process, please fill out and submit the preliminary application on the IECEF website. For applicants who are job seekers, please send your resume and a letter of reference, preferably from someone who knows you in a work environment. To help us assist you the best way possible, please send us a cover letter or description of the type of position that you are interested in. IECEF will notify you if your resume has been forwarded to an organization or company and send you contact information and any details about the position.

There is no application deadline for employment assistance. Applicants can decide when they want to apply; however, IECEF suggests that applicants submit their applications as early as possible before their departure date to Korea. Finding a job may take significantly longer than anticipated.
